SHOPPING IN CYPRUS

Cyprus is a great place to do some shopping with shops that cater for all tastes and needs.

Cypriot goods can be purchased in one of the many hotel shops, small outlets or roadside kiosks.

In the major cities of Cyprus you will find shopping malls offering well known stores such as Marks & 

Spencer and Debenhams.

Markets

Central to Cypriot life, the markets provide a unique experience of colour smells and sounds.

All of the major towns and resorts have a market where you will find much local produce. Spices, fruit, 

vegetables meat, fish and handicrafts abound in the markets. You will also find locally produced lace, 

clothing, leather goods and jewellery.

Shopping in Larnaca

Designer boutiques and souvenir shops, colourful fruit and vegetable markets and the many small shops 

specialising in the local crafts – including lace, wood and pottery items – will brighten the life of any shopper. 

Craftsmen create jewellery and pottery items based on ancient designs. Basket weavers keep up a long-

standing tradition and sell many items in the markets and shops in the town.

Shopping in Limassol

Limassol offers a varied shopping experience from its winding streets to the ultra modern shopping centre, 

located near Limassol port.

The 170 shop Orphanides Shopping mall on Anexartisias street offers well known high street brands, great 

for all shopping junkies!

Limassol also boasts the brand new Tiffany Mall which offers 130 shops, restaurants, entertainment and 

cultural facilities. Tiffany Mall is located 10 minutes from the town centre in Zakaki.

Nicosia Shopping

Ledra street, a narrow pedestrianised street is packed full of small shops offering excellent footwear and craft 

shops. In addition there are a few department stores where you can pick up the latest in fashion and 

accessories.

After all of that shopping why not stop at one of the many bars or cafeterias to enjoy a long relaxing drink as 

you watch the world go by.

Archbishop Makarios Avenue is where you will find Marks and Spencer, Debenhams and designer shops.
